Glad you asked, Aussiepalooza is the big event for all those that love the Australian Shepherd, have one as a loved family member, adopted one from a rescue, a shelter or a breeder or found one by accident and realized that they are the greatest breed in the world, heck the universe!

As the word Palooza, created in Chicago, and guess what, we are throwing our party in Joliet, how close is that to Chicago, means a gigantic party, and we mean to keep that word true to it’s meaning, minus the alcohol of course, our Aussie know how to party all on their own. Aussiepalooza is an annual event held by Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest, and it falls right into place as our 1st year anniversary of our great rescue.
Shadow and Boo Prep Themselves For Aussiepalooza
Aussie Rescue Midwest, short for Australian Shepherd Rescue Midwest celebrated the assume milestone of one year of being one of the regions best Australian Shepherd rescues. We have been through a lot, starting as an extension of ARPH, and then moving into the New Spirit for Aussie Rescue organization, and finally deciding that we could be a great presence in the Aussie Rescue scene as our own regional rescue.
Aussie Rescue has rescued, adopted and rehomed over 100 Aussies in our first year. So with that great achievement, we felt we wanted to give a little back to all our volunteers, our foster homes and our adopters.
So there you have it, what Aussiepalooza is all about. The celebration of saving over 100 souls, and making over a 100 families that much better having one of our rescue Aussies in their home.
